Like a ghost from out of the past, a mysterious diary falls into Starr's hands and its contents not only provide clues that will lead directly to the killer, but splits the town wide open.

Lee Martin's writing ability coupled with his investigative background and doctorate in psychology melded together in "Starbright" resulting in an engrossing read. The characters and plot are believable and intriguing, and just when the reader thinks he/she has figured out "who done it", he/she is in for a surprise.I recommend this book to any one who likes a good scary mystery with a subtle romantic undercurrent. Before you start the book, make sure your children are home, your doors locked and you have three or four hours blocked out because you will be unable to stop reading until you finish the last page.

Lee Martin tells a great story with wonderful characters, suspense and surprises. I highly recommend his books! In addition to this book, I have read "Wolf Laurel," "Provocation" and "A Hateful Wind." Couldn't put them down once I began reading!
